Lovely photo. I Like the DOF. Nice exposure as well. Would crop out the light part of the sky in the background. It distracts too much since it's the same color of the paper.

thanks for cc everyone... focus was a problem slightly, hand was unstable... and the text and pen tip were gettin equal focus at a time... took 6 -7 shots out of which this was best. moser artist: ya i did pass... ms michelle: will keep ur comment in mind to do b8er..

I like the lighting and mood. Agree with others about the blurred text. Having the text in focus would help lead the eye to the pen.
